Most measurements in our sizing chart (except collar size) are given for the garment, not the user’s body! We know that all men have a favourite t-shirt and we think it is easier to measure it, rather than wrapping yourselves with a tape. So grab yours, lay it flat and measure, ideally with a soft measuring tape. You should have enough reference to know what size fits you best… or just ask your better half to help you out. Either she’ll know better or you’d have someone to blame.

Just remember that BRO is an undershirt with some elasticity built in, so it should hug you and disappear under your outer layer, not hang loose on you.

Detailed instructions on how we took our measurements for the sizing chart are below. Feel free to follow.

Fit guidelines for BRO undershirts:

  • Chest width is your most important one. If you get this one right, the rest should be OK in 95% of cases.
  • Make it snug but not tight – it should stay close to your body without restricting movement. Remember that we designed it to be smooth under clothing – you don’t want bunching or rolling. We pre-shrunk our garments, so they should not change size after washing.
  • We also designed it to be long enough to stay tucked in under your shirt, because appropriate length is important for everyday confidence. Size up if you are a really tall guy or never skip the desert… or the extra beer.
  • Collar size a bit tricky. This measurement is only for the crew style and it is only a reference for those of you, who have unusually wide necks.
